Terms of Service
Effective August 20, 2026
1. Acceptance of these Terms
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of tvmountlabs.com (the “Website”), including its quote-request tools and related communications. The Website is operated by TV Mount Labs (“TV Mount Labs,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing the Website or submitting a request, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Website.
2. Website purpose and service agreements
The Website provides general information and allows residential and commercial customers in the DFW Metroplex to request estimates for TV mounting, cable concealment, soundbar installation, and related services.
These Terms govern the Website. Actual installation work may be subject to a separate written estimate, invoice, work order, warranty terms, or service agreement (collectively, a “Service Agreement”). If a Service Agreement conflicts with these Terms concerning installation work, the Service Agreement controls.
3. Eligibility and authority
You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering an agreement to request services. By requesting work at a property, you represent that you are the owner, tenant with appropriate permission, property manager, authorized business representative, or otherwise have authority to approve the requested work and any drilling, mounting, cable routing, or related alteration.
4. Quote requests are not confirmed bookings
Submitting the online form requests an estimate only. It does not create a confirmed appointment, guarantee availability, reserve a time, or obligate either party to proceed. An appointment is confirmed only after TV Mount Labs expressly accepts the requested date, scope, and location.
You are responsible for providing complete and accurate information, including TV quantity and size, wall construction, desired bracket, cable-concealment needs, installation location, and known site conditions.
5. Estimates and pricing
Website calculations are preliminary estimates based solely on the selections and information submitted. They are not binding final prices. Final pricing may change after review, on-site inspection, or discovery of conditions including unusual wall construction, inaccessible studs, masonry, metal framing, concealed utilities, required specialty hardware, unsafe access, excessive cable runs, existing damage, code requirements, or information that was incomplete or inaccurate.
We will communicate material scope or price changes before performing the affected additional work. Taxes, permits, third-party products, and work outside the stated scope may be additional unless expressly included in writing.
6. Site conditions and customer responsibilities
Before service, you agree to provide safe and reasonable access to the installation area; identify known plumbing, electrical, gas, data, fire-suppression, or other concealed systems; disclose known wall damage or unusual construction; secure pets and valuables; and obtain any owner, landlord, building, association, or management approval required for the work.
For commercial locations, you are responsible for coordinating access, operating-hour restrictions, building rules, certificates, permits, and authorized decision-makers unless otherwise agreed in writing.
7. Safety and right to decline work
We may pause, modify, reschedule, or decline work when conditions are unsafe, inaccessible, unlawful, outside our service area or capabilities, inconsistent with manufacturer requirements, or materially different from the information provided. Examples may include suspected hazardous materials, unstable surfaces, unknown utilities, inadequate mounting structure, unsafe fireplaces, or electrical work requiring a separately licensed professional.
8. Scheduling, cancellation, payment, and promotions
Appointment timing, cancellation or rescheduling terms, deposits, payment methods, payment timing, refunds, and promotional conditions will be disclosed in the applicable estimate, booking confirmation, invoice, promotion, or Service Agreement. Unless expressly confirmed in writing, advertised availability and promotions may be limited, modified, or withdrawn and may not be combined.
Our general approach to advance payments, cancellations, completed services, materials, and refund requests is described in our Refund Policy.
9. Products, brackets, and customer-supplied equipment
Customer-supplied televisions, brackets, soundbars, cables, and accessories must be compatible, complete, undamaged, and suitable for the intended installation. We are not responsible for manufacturer defects, missing parts, compatibility limitations, pre-existing damage, or failures in customer-supplied products. Product warranties are provided by the applicable manufacturer or seller, not TV Mount Labs, unless expressly stated otherwise in writing.
10. Workmanship warranty
When a one-year workmanship guarantee is included in your confirmed Service Agreement or invoice, it applies to covered installation workmanship for the stated period and is subject to its written conditions and exclusions. Unless the written warranty states otherwise, it does not cover product defects, customer-supplied hardware, misuse, impact, water or fire, structural movement, later work by others, altered installations, concealed conditions, signal or internet service, or normal wear. Contact us promptly if you believe covered workmanship requires review.
11. Communications
By submitting contact information, you authorize us to respond about your inquiry, quote, appointment, and requested services by email, telephone, or text message. Consent to receive service-related communications is not consent to unrelated automated marketing. Carrier message and data rates may apply. You may ask us to stop nonessential communications at any time.
12. Acceptable use
You may not misuse the Website, interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorized access, submit fraudulent or unlawful requests, introduce malicious code, scrape the Website through automated means without permission, impersonate another person, or use the Website in a manner that violates law or another person’s rights.
13. Intellectual property
The Website and its original text, design, graphics, branding, software, and other content are owned by or licensed to TV Mount Labs and protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. We grant you a limited, revocable, nonexclusive right to use the Website for personal or internal business purposes related to evaluating or requesting our services. No other rights are granted.
14. Third-party services and links
The Website relies on or links to third-party services, including Formspree, Vercel, and social platforms. We do not control third-party services and are not responsible for their availability, content, security, or independent practices. Your use of third-party services may be governed by their terms and policies.
15. Website disclaimers
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Website is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not warrant that Website content is error-free, complete, continuously available, or suitable for every installation. Photographs, diagrams, examples, availability statements, and online estimates are illustrative and do not replace an on-site assessment or confirmed Service Agreement.
Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties, remedies, or rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
16. Limitation of liability for Website use
To the fullest extent permitted by law, TV Mount Labs will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising solely from access to or inability to use the Website. Our liability for installation services is governed by the applicable Service Agreement and non-waivable law. This section does not limit liability that cannot legally be limited.
17. Responsibility for misuse
To the extent permitted by law, you are responsible for losses, claims, or costs arising from your unlawful misuse of the Website, fraudulent submissions, infringement of another person’s rights, or material breach of these Terms. This provision does not apply to losses caused by TV Mount Labs.
18. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Nothing in these Terms prevents either party from exercising rights or remedies available under applicable consumer-protection or other non-waivable law.
19. Changes, severability, and waiver
We may update these Terms by posting a revised version and effective date. Changes apply prospectively. If a provision is found unenforceable, it will be enforced to the maximum lawful extent and the remaining provisions will continue in effect. A failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver.
